Lawsuit and Leather - Book 2 Update

Hello friends and lovers!

I’m coming at you with the first book 2 update of the Mine to Keep series, book 2 “Untitled” — but it does have a title 😮

This update will have a few bulleted points that may be exciting, I hope so anyway! I’m trying to not give away too much information about the story itself.

Updates for book 2

• First draft is officially DONE as of 6/7/22

• Word count: 148,280

• Chapter count: 34 (including prologue)

• There is no epilogue completed at this time. Do I want an epilogue? Absolutely, but it hasn’t revealed itself just yet.

  • It’s possible there might not be one.

• This is a 3 person POV book: Parker, Alejandro, and Gemma (not in any order 🙃, or is it?)

My table of contents is a bit chaotic as I write. Sometimes a chapter becomes longer than anticipated and if I see a possible break, I’ll make that a new chapter at that point.

• There is no release date at this time, still to be determined. My ideal goal would be end of summer, but this is in no way an actual projected date. I’m taking my time to ensure book 2 is perfect and ready to be read by you and I don’t want to disappoint you. I appreciate you being on this ride with me and for being so patient!

• I won’t be releasing any initials of the book title just yet, until we are closer! It’s more exciting when there isn’t a large gap of months between reveals, wouldn’t you agree?

• This book will have more triggers than Lawsuit and Leather. It is a very emotional story as we learn more about Parker, Gemma, and Alejandro’s back stories and how it affects their day to day decisions and the complicated path to love they are on. Honestly, it’s an emotionally charged story that I cannot wait to share with you!

• Book 2 has its cover completed! And it’s 🥹

  • Book 1, Lawsuit and Leather, we have Alejandro pictured on the cover. Who do you think will grace the cover for book 2? (Leave a comment below! It’ll be fun to see who guesses correctly!)

• My husband and I started editing and reading through the chapters as of 6/8/22 and have been focused on it non stop to make sure we get a good grasp of time of when book 2 could be published.

  • If it helps you to know some type of detail of timeline, it will for sure be published 2022! I have no doubt about that.

• This series is not only a slow burn, but clearly a slow burn for publishing! 🤣 I Promise it’ll be worth it! Hopefully it doesn’t feel like a Punishment! 🫣
